◎ General
How do I place an order?
Browse the shop pages for pre-made items, or use the custom order forms on any category page. All orders start as a conversation — I'll confirm details and send a proof before anything is made.
How long does an order take?
Custom orders typically ship within a few days of your approval. I'll usually have a proof to you within 1–2 business days of receiving your request. Timeline can vary depending on complexity and current queue — I'll give you a realistic estimate when you order.
What countries do you ship to?
Shipping details are being finalized — check back soon or reach out and I'll tell you what's currently available for your location.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment options are being finalized and will be available at checkout. For now, I'll include payment instructions when I send your proof and invoice.
What's your return policy?
Because every item is made to order, I don't accept returns unless something arrived damaged or there was an error on my end. In either case, contact me and I'll make it right. For custom orders, the proof approval process is there specifically to make sure you're happy before anything is made.
🖼 Cards & Frames
How durable are the aluminum cards?
Very. Aluminum doesn't rust or yellow, and the engraved image is permanent — it's physically removed material, not ink or coating. A quick wipe keeps it looking clean.
Can I collect multiple cards for one frame?
That's exactly the idea. The card slides in and out of the frame with no tools required. Buy as many cards as you like and swap them whenever the mood changes.
Why are most cards in grayscale?
Standard laser engraving removes material to create varying shades of gray. The result is monochromatic but has a depth and quality that works particularly well with the metal surface. Colored anodized aluminum is available — ask about it when you order.
What if my custom image doesn't translate well to grayscale?
I'll send you a proof before anything is engraved. If the contrast doesn't work well, we can discuss adjustments — or choose a different image entirely. No charge for the proof stage.
What image format do you need for a custom card?
JPG or PNG at the highest resolution you have. For portrait cards: minimum 1000 × 1600 px. For landscape: minimum 1600 × 1000 px. Square images will always be cropped on any card — portrait or landscape is ideal. Not sure? Send what you have and mention which orientation you want.
Are colored / anodized cards different?
Yes — colored anodized aluminum produces a toned scale based on the card color rather than pure grayscale. Ask about availability when you order.
Do the cards work as actual playing cards?
No — they're the same general size as a playing card but much thicker and heavier. They're display and collectible pieces, not functional playing cards.
✦ Laser Engraved Items
What materials can you engrave on?
Quite a few — aluminum, coated and anodized metals, marble and stone, wood, slate, ceramic coatings on mugs, and more. The best way to find out if your material works is to ask. If I haven't tried it, I'll tell you honestly.
How detailed can the engraving be?
Very detailed — the laser can reproduce fine lines and subtle gradients. That said, engraving is essentially a grayscale process: it removes or alters the surface material rather than adding ink or color. High-contrast images and clean lines tend to look the best.
Is the engraving permanent?
Yes. Laser engraving physically alters the material surface — it doesn't apply ink, paint, or coating that could chip or fade. The result is permanent under normal use.
Can I supply my own item to engrave?
In some cases, yes — it depends on the item. Reach out with what you have in mind and we'll discuss whether it's feasible.
How do I know if my image will work?
Send it over and I'll evaluate it. I always create a proof before engraving anything, so you'll see exactly how it will look. If the image needs adjustment — contrast, cropping, simplification — I'll let you know before any material is touched.
◈ 3D Printed Items
What materials do you print with?
Primarily PLA and PETG filament — strong, detailed, and available in a wide range of colors. For specific applications needing more heat resistance or flexibility, I can look into alternatives. Ask if you have a specific material requirement.
Can I send my own 3D model file?
Absolutely — STL and OBJ files work great. Upload it in the request form. If you don't have a file, describe what you need and I'll handle the modeling side before going to print.
How large can items be?
The printer bed is roughly 220 × 220 mm (about 8.5 × 8.5 inches). Taller items can be printed vertically. Very large items can sometimes be segmented into pieces and joined — bring it up in your request and we'll figure out the best approach.
Can 3D printed items also be laser engraved?
Yes — some materials engrave well, and combining both methods can produce great results (e.g., a 3D-printed sign with a laser-engraved design or text). Mention it when you request a quote.
How strong are the printed items?
Strong enough for most decorative and light functional uses. 3D-printed parts aren't as strong as machined metal, but PLA and PETG are quite durable for indoor use. I can adjust infill and wall thickness for items that need to bear weight or handle stress.
